Chennai, Mahabalipuram an Kancheepuram are three different destinations in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

While Chennai is a mix of various elements such as colonial heritage, scenic beaches and historical museums, Mahabalipuram and Kancheepuram, on the other hand, transports a visitor to the medieval  era of South India.

Itinerary Details

Day 01:Chennai (Arrival)

• Arrival in Chennai followed by assisted transfer to the hotel pre-booked for your stay. On reaching the hotel, check into our room and retire for the day. Overnight stay in Chennai.

Day 2: Chennai-Mahabalipuram

• On the 2^nd day, after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Chennai covering Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and some museums housed with a fine collection of stone sculptures and bronze sculptures. In the afternoon, leave by road  for Mahabalipuram. On reaching Mahabalipuram, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram 

• Post a scrumptious breakfast in the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram covering the 7^th century architectural marvels- Arjuna’s Penance, Five Rathas and Shore Temple. Later, return back to the hotel for  dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram – Tanjore

• Today, in the morning, take a road trip to Tanjore. On reaching Tanjore, venture out of your hotel and visit the famous Brihadewswara Temple, a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stay overnight in Kancheepuram.

Day 5: Departure 

• Today, in the morning, you will be transferred to the international airport/railway station to board flight/train for onward journey.
