How to Plan a  Cheap Kerala Travel Package?

Kerala Trip #DMC Agent/Agency Kerala #Kerala tour package #Cheap Kerala Tour Package #  Kerala has emerged as one of the most popular tourist places in India. The natural beauty in the form of beaches, mountain ranges, wildlife, backwaters and lush green areas offer a splendid view to the visitors. There are many places to be visited here. The cities and the places in Kerala have significance of their own.

Identify 3 Most Important Things for your Trip:

Before we land into the top 3 points. We recommend you to check the flight tickets *Arrival at Kochi, IN – Cochin International & departure from Trivandrum, IN – Thiruvananthapuram (TRV). Flight tickets usually get expensive as the date of travel approaches near. Book your flight tickets as early as possible. Suggested time is 72-90 Days in advance. Well, sometimes you get a deal as the date is very close to the departure may be around 7 days before your departure. However, at that moment since the day of your travel is close by finding good hotels as per your liking will be difficult. In Goa, the good hotels and resorts get sold out fast. If you are not finding cheap tickets during your travel date then put an alert in skyscanner.com. This website will give you regular updates about the price for your travel dates.  Now let’s begin.

Things you need to identify

Destination and Attractions you prefer to visit. Described in detail below.

Things you wish to do in Kerala. Updated as of 2018.

Number of Days you plan to visit, do not plan just 1-2 days. It is too less time to visit this exotic destination. However, if you have a time constraint then considers a combination of 4 Nights.(02Night – Munnar , 01 Night Alleppey (House boat stay ) , 01 Night Cochin (Arrival & Departure )

Expected Budget. Everyone has a limit.

 Preference

Some prefer everything.

some prefer a relaxed trip not bothered about where they go and what they do. Just don’t want any overhead.

Some are more inclined towards “Dude, what are the cheapest things to do? or how to reduce my trip cost”.

Some for Honeymoon, Business meets, Group tour, MICE etc…

Now, considering all these factors this is what we at Experience Kerala try to achieve. Irrespective of what your budget is, what your preferences are, what your feedback for a particular destination is or what your inner self feel is correct. An unbiased review about a particular hotel, resort, activity or restaurant is what we recommend to travellers to help plan their trip in a better way.

Where do most people visit?

Most of the travellers who visit Kerala , visit North Kerala  (Cochin ,Munnar , Thekkady,Alleppey,Bekal,Wayanad,Palakkad,Thrissur,Kozhikode,Kannur,Malappuram), South Kerala (Trivandrum, Kovalam ) .

What you need to check while selecting a travel package from any travel company?

Make sure the brand is known and has good visibility and reviews.

Make sure your itinerary contains the best of the experiences in Kerala. If it is not then customize and add your preferred tours in your itinerary.

Make sure the company is open to customization as per your travel requirements. If not, then look into a different travel company.

Ask for breakup of the total travel cost as this will help you to understand where you are paying for what.

Go with local agencies who have good national presence. As the local companies will know the best price floating in the market.

Never make a mistake to use the same tour as suggested by your friend as your friend might have different taste than yours. Check your friends itinerary before confirming.

Do I need a travel Package to the Kerala ?

In the Kerala ,the list goes on and we have been trying to make the guest updated with whatever changes are taking place during/before their trip. If you are well equipped to handle such situations or you do not have any fixed dates to return back then you may not take a tour package. We are certain that you will manage the Kerala Trip well. These above-mentioned points should be taken into consideration while planning your trip. Whoever is not certain in such scenarios or whoever does not want to take an overhead we recommend a tour package.

Will I save, if I Don’t take a Tour Package?

Now, many have a concern that they will be charged extremely high if they avail a tour package. Just to be honest as much as we know the Kerala, even after careful cost calculation you are not going to save more than Rupees 1000 – 2000 for the tour done by yourself. In addition, you will have to invest your time as you will have to negotiate with everyone at every place to save this amount after arriving in Cochin Airport. Be it auto wallas, cabs, boats, hotels, ferry tickets, activities, hotels and many small things that are pretty local to the islands. Now, most of them are on a tour that is less that 7 to 8 Days. So, if most times goes in negotiation and quarrel with locals in the islands then you lose that peace of mind during your vacation. There is a reason why tour packages are so much in demand especially in Kerala, the soul purpose of it is that you get a well-customized tour plan within your budget and you don’t have to go through multiple people for that 1 good deal. Usually, traveler book hotels and then think what to do when going on a trip. However, for Kerala we personally feel you need to plan what you need to do and then book your hotels. So that all things are in sync for a hastle free vacation.

With Tour Package, will I get the flexibility during the tour and Can I Customize a tour as required?

In regard to customization of a tour itinerary we know we are the best in the country. As required, howsoever required, if practically possible we can make it happen. Now the second question is about the freedom with which the tour is conducted and the flexibility in timings. Here we would like to update you that Experience Kerala is the most flexible tour operator and we know the city in and out. For tours where boat rides are involved, you have to be on time as if you miss the boat then you might not be able to visit the selected destination on that day and you might have to wait for the next day. For sightseeing you can take as much time as required by you and our team will be patient enough to give you the time and space. We never run for anything and we give you ample time. Just to be honest here, in case any tour requires you to be on time that will be specifically to make sure you get that experience properly else many times because of the huge inflow of travelers to Kerala, you might have to wait for long hours. You will see this after arriving in Cochin Airport. Travelers who prefer to take sightseeing tours of themselves many times ends up waiting for long hours for their turn and to get the tickets as most things get prebooked well in advance. So even after planning everything by yourself, you might not be able to visit a given attraction. For that reason, we always recommend travelers to plan a trip to Kerala in a very cautious manner as it is not any city side destination where you hop in at the last moment and everything falls in place. With Kerala, this way will not work.
